Industrial Noise

Current work in this area is focused on measurements of acoustic power in free field and in reverberant chamber and in the development of solutions for noise control (active and passive) and their industrial application in manufacturing

Environmental Noise

Current work in this area is focussed on environmental impact studies, noise maps, development of prediction equations, simulation and validation, as well as on the measuring of noise produced by vehicles, trains and planes.

Noise in Working Environments

Current work in this area focuses on the measurement and assessment of noise exposition in working environments.

Building Acoustics

Current work on this area focuses on studies, consulting and assessing services on insulation and acoustic conditioning for auditorium design, radio and television stations. Also, reverberant and anechoic chambers are currently being developed. The research group has a testing laboratory accredited by the ENAC in 2004 which forms part of the madri+d laboratory network.
